D & DK Steel Detailing can prepare precast concrete detail drawings in Australian for construction sites. Using precast panels has become a very common construction technique and is the most common way that commercial properties are built.
During a structural steel detailing project, the precast panels can be incorporated into our 3D structural model as per the indended design, including reinforcement & cast-in items. We can dhen produce detail drawings of the panels so they can be prepared for manufacture.
We work with Tekla Structures for all of our 3D modelling outputs and can also provide 2D drawings including panels, REOs, ferrule arrangements, cast-in plates and lifting lugs. All of this information can be used to create reports including MTO for reinforcement with files generated as NC or DXF formats.
The fabrication and erection deliverables are created directly from the very detailed model. This also means any changes are handled automatically to update all the other necessary documents or data. This ensures all the deliverables are always accurate and up to date.
Our deliverables can include your choice of General Arrangement Drawings (Marking Plans), Assembly Drawings of panels, Cast-in items or Panel-to-Panel connections. We can customise the drawing outputs to suit your requirements.

The reports can then be used to keep track of material sizes and quantity on the overall issue. Information such as tonnage or marking plan reference can all be retrieved from these reports as well.
Typically our deliverables can include your choice of, Transmittal (list of drawings on issue), Assembly, Mark, Material, Ferrule report. We can also produce custom made reports that are developed to suit your specific application & matched to the steel detailing drawings you require.
